In my 25 years of ministry, I have seen too many Christians burn-out or loose interest in their faith and/or the church. I have seen too many Christians reach a certain point of growth in their faith and stop thinking that is all there is.
In every case - EVERY SINGLE CASE - at least one - most of the time more than one of the five purposes God has given every Christian to live out, has been missing. Let me say it again. In EVERY SINGLE CASE, without exception, when a Christian is tired of their faith, frustrated with their church, at a stand-still in their relationship with God - it is because at least one - most of the time more than one of the five purposes is missing.

I embrace every teaching series I do with enthusiasm, but this one? This one is one that I believe in to the very core of my being because I have seen and experienced the truth of these purposes in my own life!
