I'd like to invite anyone - from Meadow or not - to engage with the question below and post your comments. Is it possible to get an online dialogue going?
This is a take-off from the first message of "Freedom FROM Religion". BUT...it's not necessary that you were at Meadow to comment. All comments are welcome!
Read it over, then go back to Facebook and post your comment(s)! I'd really like to hear your input and comments!
- Why do you think some churches attach rules and regulations to a relationship with God instead of simply following Christ?
Okay...your turn. What are your thoughts?
Here's last week's service if you want to watch and listen to it.

Pastor John - I just finished watching your Part 2 of Freedom from Religion sermon. You said that the Bible clearly teaches justification by faith alone. However, the only place the phrase "faith alone" occurs in the Bible is in James 2:24 which says, "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone." The Bible does teach justification by faith, but not by faith ALONE. I'd be interested in your response.
